Many years ago I saw my father chatting with a black man by our house. Curious, I sidled up to the man, looked up and asked, "Are you a *@#+"#?". Things got awkward fast. Particularly after, hurt, I looked at my father and said, "But that's what you call them."

I was driving with the family to get some fast food & the guy in front of us wasn't going fast enough for him I guess, he yelled out the window at the top of his lungs, "God Damn it grandma, find your God damned gas peddle!" You should have seen the look my wife gave me.
