1. My kiddo just showed me this trailer a couple minutes ago.

I’m excited to see this even though I think Disney has diluted the Star Wars brand a bit. I’m still crazy about all of it. I’ve loved everything about SW since I saw the first movie when I was 14. So happy my son loves them too. Although, I was informed tonight that he wasn’t going to the premier with me...he’s going with his friends. I’m kinda sad about it because it’s the first time the kiddo is ditching me for his pals. Dang.

2. At 1:45 in the trailer the resistance is riding into battle on HORSES! Got to....

....hand it to Lucas and Disney, they check all the boxes on their fan base.

4. Looks great, but I'm guessing there's a lot of misdirection going on in this trailer.

Palpatine is featured so heavily, but they never show him - only an empty throne. I don't have the slightest idea what this movie is supposed to be about, and when we ultimately find out I'm thinking that it's going to be very different from what the trailer is suggesting.
