and he probably can't walk on them at all. So he figured out another way to get around.

Either way quite remarkable IMO.
BTW, in a similar vein, in my wildlife rescue days, I once saw a rabbit (a white tailed prairie hare) with two injured legs, one on the FLHS (front left-hand side) and the other on the RRHS. He was still able to run quite well using only the other two legs.
