It looked okay outside and nothing was on the morning doppler when I left from home so I took the scooter in (city streets only, and about 10 minutes more to go the 9 miles to work, but it saves so much on gas...).
Once I got about two miles from home past the I-15 on Market, it became a solid wall of misty droplets, the roads got slick and the drivers got stupid - running red lights, making right turns without slowing down and looking - nearly hitting pedestrians, not using their f'ing wipers. Three times I saw pedestrians nearly get hit. I nearly got sideswiped by someone speeding up and merging into my lane without looking. He got pulled over by a cop who smiled and waved me on three blocks further down.
I'm f'n soaked from the thighs down (where the scooter jacket ends) - it shows on my dark grey suit pants - my hair is damp, and I have the Monday morning meeting with the customer in a half hour.
Grrrrr...should have had Laz drive me in today.
