Agreed...a very different population...apples and oranges are good. I live in Michigan and know countless Canadians. Not all... but most are very much more polite than the average U.S. citizen.

Someone on a scanner enthusiasts' listserv sent me the instructions for getting the Kindle Fire to work at Google Play. Once you get there, you can install Chrome or Firefox. I kept Silk as my browser, as it automatically updates. I haven't noticed that Twitter videos don't play.

Mine's a 5th Generation: Kindle Fire models

9. I use several different fire tablets (so some are always charging). ALL of them have this problem.

Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving in early October. It is all about the harvest and celebrating the bounty for the year and whatever 'blessings' (not necessarily religious) people are grateful for. By the time we do Thanksgiving in the U.S. harvest is long over and pumpkins have turned to mush. It makes no sense.
