1. Ha ha,

I went to college with a guy who was a state champion accordionist. He posts a lot on memes on Facebook about how cool and sexy accordion players are. He is very talented and plays a lot of gigs in the German areas along I-35.

The other nice thing about him is that he is a radiologist so his performance schedule works out for him very well.

2. I used to sometimes guest on a folk music program on BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service)

That was back in the 1980s, when there was still a BOAR (British Army On The Rhein).

There was program called "Folk Review," and that is where I first heard this piece. It still blows me away.
