and stashed away because of their irreligious content and discovered in the 1800's, I think. O Fortuna is about the changing nature of lady luck encountered by gamblers. There's a cute drinking song where you take a swig with every toast...it's long, so sousedom guaranteed. I especially like Ecce Gratum, about winter giving way to spring which means we should cast off our climate-induced isolation, get warm together and dedicate ourselves to love. Totus floreo is in the same vein and a jaunty tune. Dulcissime is beautiful and sounds religious, but it's not in adoration of the Virgen. Oh, those wild and crazy monks!
