The call and response in "Mellow Down Easy" is one of my favorite vocal bits.

Unique album in that they did one side from their live performances and the other side was all new tunes. The new tunes were all killer tunes too. From the rockin' "Nasty Dogs and Funky Kings to the campy fun of "Mexican Blackbird", all of those tunes nailed it. "Blue Jean Blues" is one of the best examples of slow tempo electric blues out there. The feeling Billy G put into his lead runs showcases his place among the best blues guitarists IMO.
