But did I have the camera recording when Trixie tried to climb the ladder to get on the top bunk, or when she launched herself 2 feet from the bottom bunk to hang from my poor husband's stomach? No, of course not. *sigh* LOL

(149,615 posts)Wow, Trixie and Gonzo are so adorable! And so full of energy and mischief too...
I was giggling throughout at their antics! It's been decades since I had a kitten, never mind two of them and I'd forgotten how cute they are...
Congrats!
They are so very lucky, and you guys are too!
I look forward to more video!

(24,470 posts)They are both so cute, but that little Gizmo is melting my heart!!!
They are clearly happy, playful kittehs who have now found a wonderful home.
I look forward to the next installment!

(72,377 posts)each other. Luckily, the moment we adopted them the shelter put them in the same cage, where they stayed for the last week while having surgery and recuperating. That went a long way to starting off a good relationship between them, I think.

(72,377 posts)get kittens for a couple more weeks yet, but the Shelter advertised that it was full and had a great deal on kittens with shots and spay/neuter last weekend, so we went up and had our hearts stolen. It was just meant to be!

(205,320 posts)And so very playful! Made me LOL! Thanks so much for sharing this, kudos to you for recording their first moments. They seem to be adapting well, but it looks like you prepared perfectly. They are so lucky to have each other for companionship, but luckier still to have found you...

(72,377 posts)didn't clear the breakables away yet, and while nothing has been broken at this point, Miss Trixie made it perfectly clear that she can get up on tables and bookcases just fine! LOL)

(12,272 posts)Trixie looks like a good jumper with those back legs she has and I can almost feel how soft Gizmo is. And it is so great that they were kept together through their trials so they are real buds now.
Thank you for allowing us to have vicarious kitten joy through this video, and I have to tell you, I love your accent.

(72,377 posts)I can get a feather wand and see what she can do. Our previous jumper loved milk rings and the pull tabs from frozen concentrated juice, so I'll try those as well. Gizmo feels like a dust bunny w/ legs!
Thanks for the compliment on the accent. LOL That's a first for me. I live in Maine but my Mom grew up in Pennsylvania-Dutch country. I guess it makes for an interesting mix. (Although not as cool as my best friend's mom, who was from Kentucky. That mixed with the Yankee accent in a really neat way. ) I didn't realize how much I babble until I watched the footage back. It's as bad as the kids' baby vids. LOL

(11,769 posts)The little Siamese will greet the great closet monster, but once it shows itself to be the loud obnoxious lout it is, he tucks himself in behind the sofa... keeping a careful eye of course, always at the ready to join the other brave feline hunter, under the bed.
Again, congratulations on two super-duper cutie pies!
