our working lives. If they do something w/ SS, I damn well hope they pay me back every cent I put into SS (over 42 years worth) PLUS interest. I know that there are tons of DU people that have paid in just as much or more. I'm sick and tired of these threats to SS and whenever someone mentions doing something to SS, they are on my crap list to vote out of office immediately. Do they not realize that people paid almost 10%, give or take, into SS (plus what your employer put into it too) during their entire working life?
