She registered as a Democrat (of course!), shortly after her 18th birthday. Her candidate won, too. Yay!!!

(8,556 posts)I didn't register until I was 24. And I didn't vote in a presidential election (for the Democrat, of course) until I was 26. Good for her for getting in the game early. That's the kind of thing we need.

(23,998 posts)Giving away my age, but my first presidential vote was for Kerry and the second for Obama. I've voted in the midterms ever since as well. Too bad we're stuck with that loser Kasich. But it wasn't for lack of trying on my part

I registered at 18, as well, but my presidential candidate never won until Bill Clinton. I was beginning to think I was a jinx...
