(4,079 posts)I "won't get up off of my fat ass and feed her." At least that's what she keeps yelling at me.

(16,383 posts)My kitteh is fiercely independent and only wants affection on her terms. If I touch her unsolicited, I regret it. This is the first cat I've had like this. My others have been so sweet. She was abandoned by her cat mamma and bottle-fed by humans; I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. I wish she was a little more like yours.

(113,336 posts)Despite cats' reputation for aloofness, all my kittehs were smugglers who demanded affection. They also loved human food. One even drank gin.

(612 posts)This post just gave me the first out loud laugh in weeks.
My cats are now positive that Mom has lost it (whatever "it" was), and have left the room.
They'll be baaaack...

(11,770 posts)My two are starting to get used to me being home so much. First because of the hernia surgery, now working just a few hours a week. They are getting a little demanding... Plus, the Siamese has turned into the curfew parent waiting at the door to yell at me.
