I was one of those people the other day. I was trying to make an appointment with my doctor for a semi-urgent health problem, and had been on hold for over half an hour. Fortunately, the pharmacist had been watching me sit there with the phone to my ear for ages, and there were no other customers in line, so she was very understanding.
I doubt that happens very often, though.
