(6,011 posts)but your wife probably won't wear your tie.
Fathers' Day and her birthday will be on the same day in 2018 so announce you want a cake next time.

(25,816 posts)He grew up the son of a miner in Nevada (born 1914) and his birthday was December 24th. He said he got one present, a combination present, for his birthday and Christmas. No wonder he was a sourpuss. (Just kiddin' pop)

(46,704 posts)Well, at least you can share the cake with her today. Hubby has to go for his cholesterol test tomorrow so he's on a purifying diet. No pizza or carvel ice cream cake until tomorrow night.

(12,132 posts)his wife's birthday is tomorrow and he recently was supposed to get an expense check that he had earmarked for a new paintball gun to get himself for father's day. Well there is a new lady in accounting and she didn't know we had an arrangement to pick up our expense checks so she followed normal procedure and mailed it to his house. Where his wife got it, cashed it and spent it before he even knew it was gone.
And he says he doesn't usually get anything from her or his son so that's why he was going to use that to splurge on himself a little. Now he gets nothing. Poor sap.
My daughter took me out for sushi today and on the way home picked me up a 12 pack of Yuengling Black and Tans. I win!
