My girls were born in 83, 86 and 95 so...of course they got The Beatles, The Who, Zeppelin, Stones, Floyd, Aerosmith, Elton, U2, Queen, REM, Rush from me.
Not sure who got the best of the deal.

I remember when my oldest son was little I overheard him telling someone about how much he loved "classical music" but then I chuckled so hard when I heard him explain "you know, like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin" - Lol.

(484 posts)I just discovered Andy and Alex a couple of days ago and subscribed! As Dad used to say "What a co-inky-dink [re: coincidence]".
I like that they are more informed about music and make interesting comments about technical issues but still have some of the wide-eyed enthusiasm for new (to them) music.
We really did live through some amazing music, didnt we?
