not having a tiny person on a huuuuge stage giving a speech and being ignored by an indifferent and frequently small crowd in the convention hall. gives each speaker more focus and dignity.

1. I have to admit I didn't have high expectations coming into this

But I'm floored at how effective and well-produced the virtual DNC is. So intimate and relevant. They are engaging and speaking to us (vs a convention hall). So good.

2. It's been put together very professionally.

I had fears that it would be like a typical Zoom meeting, with people forgetting to unmute or dropping off because of a bad wifi connection. So far it's been working very well.
