7. The most impressive bit of work was the labor-intensive trench...

... that the basketball followed for the very last segment. That looks like a LOT of work.

13. He probably had to clean up the garage...

And what do you do with all that stuff? This.

That was pretty cool, must have taken a couple weeks to put it all together if not longer. Impressive.

21. In his introduction to his YouTube video, the innovator states he used a GoPro Max camera.

The innovator "Creezy Merch" writes that with the GoPro Max camera, he was able to reframe the the sequences as needed in order to show every bit of action. He writes that, with the 360-degree capability of the Go pro camera, it is impossible to miss any details. He writes that no cuts were employed and that any appearance of continuity problems has to do with the "stitching" by the Go Pro software.

19. There was a computer game in this vein, a number of years ago.

It was called TIM (The Incredible Machine), in which you are given a tool kit for each successive problem, and must set everything up in such a way that your configuration accomplishes the goal.

And, it WAS "incredible!" Absolutely addictive. A friend of mine, who has a degree in physics, learned UNIX systems administration in an incredibly short time and is certainly the best technical mind I've ever encountered was transfixed by it, as was his 8-year old daughter. I was, too, creating quite a cross section there.

If it sounds like something you might enjoy, you definitely would. I can't recommend it highly enough, if it can still be found.

20. Here is the innovator's YouTube video upload.

Here is the introduction posted by the innovator ("Creezy Merch" ) at the YouTube video file:

This outdoor Rube Goldberg Machine goes around my entire yard, and swishes a basketball shot after 70 steps. This video was filmed in one take, meaning there are absolutely no hidden cuts or edits. The machine took a month to build and another month to successfully work, so please share this with anyone who needs some entertainment during these strange times!

Outro Music: Socially Distant by Jason Moran
https://soundcloud.com/jason_moran/so...

Filmed entirely with the GoPro MAX. The GoPro MAX is a 360 camera, and I used it for this video so I did not have to stress about missing anything during the filming process. With the GoPro MAX, you can reframe your video after you film it, so it was impossible to miss any part of the machine when filming. If there are any strange spots in this video you might think looks like a cut or edit, that is just the stitching of the 360 video.

25. Oh, WOW!

What a creative imagination!

There is a lot of work involved here. A lot of trials and disappointments, I'm sure. So much could go wrong, considering its length and terrain.

They did a good job videotaping this, too. I bet it wasn't easy.

All I can say is: WOW!
