I have no idea how I found DU, but it saved me. The story goes then that my mom had medical emergency in June '03 and I curtailed but still read posts. She reposed in Dec. '09. We had her for 6 lovely years until she major stroked in June '09. That was brutal.

I signed on again in 2016 after the heartbreaking election with my current user name.

I thoroughly enjoy all your post contributions!

Thanks for the congrats. 💙

what really matters in life. All the nastiness of trump world just takes a back seat for awhile. Thanks for posting.

What a beautiful video. My husband's dog paid me zero attention. If I called her, "Raven?" she'd ignore me. When he went anywhere without her, she'd cry at the window (for hours if necessary). She couldn't be consoled, so I couldn't imagine if anything ever happened to my husband!

Dogs do grieve, that I've seen. This is a beautiful video.
