http://www.buzzfeed.com/daves4/people-moving-to-canada-because-of-obamacare
I think some of them were making a joke, but some seem to be serious.

1. well, progressives that are upset about lack of public option, might say that....
and mean it. I'd surely prefer Canada's system.

3. Yes, but read the tweets.
Some of them are using words like "socialism" and "communism".

7. Honestly, if I could afford to, I would.
The Canadian system is in place and working. The teething pains I expect from ACA are going to be horrible and I've already been informed by my boss that I'm going to lose my employer-sponsored health care before the year ends - it's a lot cheaper for a small business to pay the fine. This will leave me unable to buy a decent policy because I barely make ends meet as it is; I'm going to have to go without because the fine will be cheaper for me, too. Unless I score a big lottery win (unlikely, since I don't but tickets), I'm thoroughly screwed.

11. It's huge.
He's going to save a minimum of $2100 per employee and we're not getting any of it.

10. I hope they go....and I wonder
what they will think when they realize they have single payer healthcare up there. Oh, to be a fly on the wall when that happens.

14. Are you kidding?
Those tea-bag idiots aren't going anywhere. They're all talk and misspelled protest signs. Canada is safe.
I love Canada. My wife and I will be heading to Victoria, B.C. for one of our regular getaways in another couple of weeks... |
