On Svengoolie this Saturday: "The Thing From Another World"

This is one of the greatest movies ever.

It is the second-best flying saucer movie from 1951. I saw it on a Friday night about a month and a half ago, but it never loses its scariness.

As soon as I saw that Winchester Pictures logo come on the screen, I knew what that night's feature was going to be.

Do not miss this.

Saturday night on MeTV- it’s the 50s classic - the original “Thing from Another World”! For 1st time viewers who say I give away too much- we will NOT reveal who plays the Thing until the end of the show! 8 pm eastern/ pacific, 7 central! Watch for fun outtakes after the movie!

Warning: if you follow the links and start reading too much, you'll see spoilers.

one. Used to watch Chiller Theater with Chilly Billy Cardille
every Saturday night on WPXI 11. I probably saw every thriller ever made.

The overlapping dialogue was unusual. Some sets were chilled so that actors' breath was visible...

It's Mr Phelps brother!

Ha!

Second best saucer movie from 51'?
I'll assume you mean Day the Earth Stood Still.
I'm sure Earth vs The Flying Saucers makes your list, I found a colorized version a while back.
Bamboo Saucer (1968) is worth a watch too.
