Shopping in the time of Covid.

Conversation with hubby tonight after watching the news of new Covid strains.

Me: I don’t ever want to leave the house again.

Him: I can do some of the shopping if you want.

Me: No, you’re a higher risk than me. But we’re out of rice.

Him: Rice. Um, okay. That shouldn’t be too hard. Maybe you can order it on Amazon or one of those delivery services. Costco delivers I think.

Me: I suppose I should try that.

Him: You figured out how to order wine online, you can do rice.

4. I go once a week to the store, thinking about getting it delivered now.

I don't know what this new strain means, are masks useless? Just what does more contagious mean?

5. I've been going every 2-3 weeks.

Moving next Wednesday means I've depleted a lot in the freezer and cupboard. Will have to do a major shop at the grocery store within a couple of days of moving. After that, I might resort to on-line ordering once/week. One of my sons has been doing that since last March.

6. Good luck. Maybe but Costco during their early hours to stock up if you can.

I've been getting there right after 9 when it opens for my age group. Huge store, limited people, hopefully safe.
