Here's a wierd thing. Usually in October and November I

See dead deer along the sides of the roads. It's rutting season then and the deer move around a lot more.

I have not seen a single deer dead by the road.

I guess it's due to the huge reduction in traffic because of the epidemic.

I am in KCMO

Along the interstate highways I travel regularly, they could have been used as mile markers - and animal pickup services are pretty good ‘round there.

My niece smacked a deer with her truck. All the usual, police came wrote report, helped her load the deer into the bed of the truck. Has it hanging in the barn now.

Here’s the twist she was going home after an unsuccessful deer hunting day at her friends property. Got her deer anyway.
