(22,037 posts)We got 6" yesterday in NE Pennsylvania on the Delaware River. It started in the early morning and continued off and on all day and into the night. It was never heavy but it was steady.
Fortunately, my plow guy called and showed up 45 minutes later.

(1,832 posts)... to my experience. I tried it with the very aggressive burner from a hot air balloon, and the meager snow that it moved was mostly from the force of the flame, and not from the heat. The targeted snow are kind of compressing itself into an ice layer instead.

Salt crystals are better.
