Bridges and Cousins, the actors portray the longing so well. You feel it. I don’t think love scenes get better than these two! And in Bridges, when she’s in the truck with her hand on the door knob, trying to quiet the war within herself - just brilliant.

Hollywood? WITH the actual costumes the actors wore.

Fabulous museum. They have all these great costumes on display and a little clip of the movie where it was worn. This scene was one of them.

They still have the costumes. The ones not on display are barcoded and in storage at the studio. My daughter manages the wardrobe department there and she took me on a great tour of the studio when I was visiting a few years ago.

Scene captures romance juxtaposed with what could have been and the reality of all our lives. Sad for the hope of a moment, but even sadder for those who didn't have that moment; melancholy. Endless comparisons to the moment. Fitting epitaph.
