I have to admit I haven't seen "Dracula" as much as the other Universal Monster movies but I had never noticed the cardboard in the background. Why would the set designer spend time making a beautiful set and then throw in some crappy cardboard. Seems like an odd movie choice to decide to go for realism.



I haven't seen the Spanish version.
