Now I represent my state Mi then my little town Hale. MiHale. Here in Michigan we use our abbreviation of state as My.

3. Listen it took me a while to figure it out.

First as a Boston native, thought NE was for ....you guessed it, New England. The 1 obviously; you considered yourself to be the #1 tennis player in New England.

Then I thought, Okay, maybe NE stands for Nebraska and they're #1 in Nebraska.

Finally, after actually saying N_E_1 out loud instead of just in my clogged brain, I got it. DUH

So you gave me a laugh at myself and whenever I saw your tag, I chuckled.

“Anyone for Tennis” was an protest anthem in the group I was associated with. It’s a song from Cream. I did play tennis and was pretty good but never #1. Love your story
