Experienced both extremes this week. I was snuggled under a blanket when it was cold in our living room the other night, and when I went driving yesterday with all the windows down.

On one deployment we were out on the flight line doing some work. It was 58 and sunny with a slight breeze.
Top working weather conditions for us. We were also the Cold Weather Battalion for the NCF.
Along came our Regimental Command to inspect the work, they were from California. They were freezing cold wearing
their cold weather Gortex and looking at us like we had two heads.
Two ends of the spectrum standing only feet apart.

In Florida when it was 50 degrees we bundled up in coats, gloves and hats.

In Michigan when it's 50 we shed our coats, gloves and hats and head outside.

because I have my thermostat set at 60, and the house has stayed at 65 for two days. I haven't even felt cold!
