How did you escape that side effect.

My arm felt like it was going to fall off with both shots.

1st shot I got in my right arm which got quite sore, so 2nd shot I got in my left arm.
I could not use it for a day, it was so painful.

Glad you did better than I did!

So we’re both good to go! 🙂

I am happy to hear so many people here are getting their 2nd shots.

Since I’m home quite a lot, anyway. 🙂 I basically just avoided crowded places, went to the store a lot less & masked up & used sanitizer. I’m still not comfortable going into a restaurant to dine indoors just yet. The restaurants around here all seem jam packed on any given evening and that still intimidates me.

And no travel. I am not comfortable and worried about variants.

I am retired and before the lock down I was quite busy every day with all kinds of fun activities and events. But I am a strong introvert, so I was able to entertain myself at home all alone during the lock down. But it is nice now to get out a bit and do some shopping.
And talk more to my neighbors.

Masks, your own area in the restaurant. I hope most don’t return to eating out. I flew the first time Sunday and came back Wednesday. It’s fine. Even wearing the mask for two hours wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Currently waiting my las five minutes for my second Pfizer shot. Arm hurts already. Yay!

Some of the restaurants look quite crowded.
I am not ready for that scene yet.

Next month I have an important family dinner at a nice restaurant, so I am going to be entering the fray.

I hope you have a great time at your family dinner. The restaurants I go to are on a mom and pop type which are not like the outback which are back to two-hour wait time. No thanks.

Then I hit some stores.

Thanks! I am really looking forward to the dinner. It is going to feel so strange to be out in a restaurant like that.

My arm is not sore although I feel the shot site n thankfully no side effects like I’ve heard from others. The only prep I did was drink tons of water starting on Sunday n I had a good breakfast just before my appt. I hope there are no delayed reactions n I hope all my du friends have a good experience

...mild headache on the way home that lasted five minutes. No pain in the arm and I thought; Ok, guess I'm good. Later that evening, picked up my arm....oh shit, that's what they meant.

Second time yesterday. Little longer headache, then in the evening, chills, muscle aches at bed time...sometimes alternating with chills. Needless to say, didn't fall asleep until about 2 am. Woke up at 7 am, dead exhausted and opened my work lap top and burned a PTO. By the afternoon, with the exception of the sore arm and being tired, doing fine.

My wife got the sore arm later and felt nauseous. This morning she had a slight fever, but its gone now. Just feels a bit nauseous, sore arm and tired.
