1. How difficult/frustrating is it to get started in this game?

And, probably more importantly, does it require lots of money to have fun or advance?

2. nope, this is NOT EA... this game is from CAPCOM

SO once you go on a hunt, what you collect is yours to do what you wish, enforce new armor, get new gear... improve your weapons. It is meant to be difficult, which is why they teach you its better to team up than to be on your own.

3. I've had to stay away from gaming for a long time because of vertigo

when playing 1st person games. I really want to try to get back into it again, but it can't be a first person. Nor can it be expensive to play. I don't mind initial cost.
If you play by yourself, is it fun? Do you need to have/use headphones to get the most out of it?

4. Headphones are not necessary ...

The game is on Amazon right now is $58.00 and there maybe cheaper versions that were rented. You can play by yourself, especially in the beginning but later, you will want to hunt with help. You can fire off an S O S , or you can join someone else's hunt. You will grow as a better hunter the more hunts you go on.
