A Starbucks employee shared an elaborate Venti Caramel Crunch Frappuccino order he received that had 13 modifications, including adding five bananas, heavy cream, extra caramel drizzle, extra caramel crunch, extra salted brown butter topping, frappucino chips, one pump of honey blend, seven pumps of dark caramel sauce, extra whipped cream and ice, all double blended.

(442 posts)I hate coffee and I can only assume that people that order this much crap in their coffee hate it, too.
At some point, you have to ask yourself if you're just too damned needy.

(8,052 posts)I've never ordered anything there besides the americano regular coffee and once I got a macchiato. Didn't know you could add all sorts of doo-dads to it besides cream/milk and sugar. I think I'd be too intimidated to try ordering anything other than what I usually get.

(14,750 posts)I see the absurdity of the whole buckian coffee shop culture.
Starbucks isn't even good coffee. It is bitter and burnt in most cases. That's because nobody drinks it straight. Add enough crap to it and it could be battery acid.
But the saddest part is that drink above is probably pushing north of $20.......

(34,136 posts)And I won't go back because I don't know what to order to get a plain cup of coffee with a lot of milk and too much sweetener. I spent ten minutes the first time and couldn't make sense of the menu.
Then I stayed at a hotel for a seminar and they only served Starbucks coffee. That was the worst burnt coffee I ever tasted. It was so bad I took up drinking tea and still do.
