Can someone who is into the young thang, ever be a good prospect for marriage?
I guess it's okay that J-Lo is using him for a rebound. Not sure that guy is really into a long-term relationship.

She did the same thing when she broke up with Affleck -- she ran to Mark Anthony and proceeded to have twins.

(20,250 posts)I had a friend like that in college. She was very pretty, and had never been without a boyfriend since she was 14. She wouldn't break up with a guy until she had another lined up.

Engaged four times, married once and still married.

(20,250 posts)As we approached graduation, she decided she needed to get serious and date someone who was marriage material. She was a party gal, smoked a lot of weed and dated a lot of party guys. But she decided she should get married right after graduation and she found a nice engineering student, Denny. Of course, he was smitten, but they couldn't be more different.
After 6 months or so of dating, he proposed and she said yes. They planned on a wedding that summer, less than 4 months away. I asked be what the rush was, because I knew she wasn't pregnant. She said they just didn't want to wait.
Her mother, who had been married 3 times, came for a visit. I asked her what she thought of Denny and she said "Oh, I think Denny will make an excellent first husband." Those were her exact words.
She was right. They didn't even last a year. A few years later, she married an accountant and had 2 children. That marriage lasted about 6 years. Last I heard from her, she was on her 3rd husband. Maybe the 3rd time is the charm.
