We won the firefly lottery this year. Woohoo. I hope the bears stay in the pools, and not in the woods where we will be sitting. Video below about the fireflies. They are beautiful, it’s like the ground is moving. Hard to film, or capture. If you ever get a chance to see it, do.

Western N.C. about 90 minutes from Gatlinburg. We have bear all over here too. My friend sent me a picture the other day where a mom and three babies were up on her deck. She lives about 15 minutes from me
