They called yesterday to remind me of it and went through a litany of things that will be checked as patients enter the office - and reminded me that masks are required in the medical building at all times.

I was at my Attorney's office on Wednesday and they require masks in their office, too.

…require masks. The dental office still has us call from the car, and only in the chair do we remove our masks. Even the veterinarian has us wait in the car.

It’s a free country. They’re free to let their teeth rot. They’re free to keep wondering what that funny lump is. And the medical provider is likewise free to tell them the rules of his/her office and to tell idiots to take a hike if they don’t like it.

I saw my allergist last week. When he needed to look up my nose (“Yep, septum still deviated”) I pulled my mask down to my mouth. He told me how many doctors at the clinic (big place; many different specialists) had gotten sick, and that one of them had died. We both spoke thru masks.
