We would buy a whole cow's liver for 10 cents a pound.
A big bag of onions And a quart jar of homemade Asian sauce. Yikes |

16. I lived on Rice-A-Roni during...
...nursing school. Chicken flavor. I liked to get it nice and crispy by cooking it longer than recommended - so I had to practically scrape it out of the pan. I guess I could call that almost caramelized rather than nearly burnt.
50 years ago, and I can still remember how it tasted. ![]() |

Little soup noodles and Arborio rice from the Italian Market, low sodium chicken broth. It's easy, give it a try.

33. My favorite Rice-a-Roni add-ins:
I'd get a package of chicken hearts, and a package of chicken livers, then sautee them together with a little oil, then add them to the pan when making the RaR.
I could make a full meal of that. |
