Or chase a real one.

(2,025 posts)6. My cat Fred is a fraidy-cat.
In fact, he lends new meaning to the term. So I named him Freddy-cat, and then shortened that to Fred. His mom was really pretty, but she had thorns, so I named her Rose. My neighbors had a really laid-back orange tabby cat they named Pumpkin. Which was a good name for him, but I came up with a better one. He was this really big, stout fellow but he had a squeaky, high-pitched meow, so I started calling him Tyson, when he came around to visit me.
Am I great at coming up with clever names for critters, or what?
