I would leave work and meet her at her place of employment, leave my car and drive with the girls strapped in their car seats in the minivan back home where I would take care of the 3 of them. Our oldest was about 2 when the twins were born and and I think that the twins were probably around two at the time of this incident. After I took care of feeding them etc and it was time to wind them down I would sit with all three in an oversized recliner that we had and read to them. I did this every night even when they were just months old. On this particulary evening one of the twins suddenly projectile vomited. I had only heard of it but had never witnessed it. Now I was the youngest in our family and had never been around babies until I became a dad x 3. I also have a very strong gag reflex. So I carefully cleaned up my little girls and the floor and called urgent care just to check on things. Then I sat back down and started to read again and then suddenly the other twin projectile vomited followed by my oldest before I had even taken care of the previous mishap. To make a long story short I ran out of towels sheets etc and had the washer and dryer going and a mop and the Bissel carpet cleaner all night. My wife (now ex) had to work particulary late that evening and didn't get home until about 1:30am. I never thought such small bodies could vomit so far and with such volume. After that evening I feel that I am battled hardened.
