Global warming plus
After watching the weather channel and seeing all the awful stuff going on - fires, extreme heat, floods, winds, drought, tornadoes, earthquakes, sunspots, etc., I'm starting to feel that the Aztec ending of 2/12/12 is optimistic. I hope we can just get through 8/12/12.
Dying crops and reduced food supplies will cost more and it's worldwide, and the heat is causing people without AC to die.
It used to be we talked about the weather to fill in a conversational void. Now everybody wondering when it's going to rain - if it's ever going to rain again. I can't get over that 6 mo drought in Florida, only to end with a rainfall that flooded streets 2 ft. high.
I apologize for being gloomy, but I waited all night for the promised rain and it never showed up.
My sympathy to you farmers/growers out there . .
