The current Colace TV ads with their "cutesy" descriptions of difficult bowel movements are

just plain old-fashioned vulgar and disgusting! I mute them or change channels each time they come on and will never knowingly purchase ANY product offered by this company!

This is not exactly an important issue, but it is a daily offense to my sensibilities and I needed to vent!

the Charmin bears waving their asses talking about no skid marks on their underwear.

All-women-poop ads for some thing that induces shitting. I don't wanna see anyone on a toilet. Of course we all poop.

3. Ick. I get that the manufacturers of these products need to advertise in some way,

but I really don't want to hear about or watch on my tv ads recounting the details of difficult pooping, or cartoon bears with skid marks on their underwear, or undies that prevent leakage, or a jingle about diarrhea. Maybe I'm just a prudish old fogy, but ick. Ad people, please don't try to be cute about body fluids.

Disgustingly hilarious. (I'll never eat soft-serve again!)

10. Vulgar is a good choice of adjective. So is crude. So is unnecessary.

I despise commercials like this, and there are many products I won't buy because of the crassness of their advertising.

I don't want to see overly descriptive ads about pads/tampons, or toilet paper, or anything to do with the function (or lack thereof) of the large intestine. Or men's underpants with the comfortable pouch for the testicles.

Kinda makes you long for "the good old days" when Laura and Rob Petrie (Dick Van Dyke show) slept in twin beds and they couldn't even say pregnant on I Love Lucy.

I just retired from 45 years as a pediatric nurse practitioner. I had to talk about poop at work - it's a very popular pediatric topic. Now that I am retired, I'd really rather not hear about it at all, and I promised myself I would not talk about it unless I had one of our cats at the vet's office.

11. The ones that have really been getting to me lately are the ones about peyronie's disease.

I don't even know exactly what they're advertising, but there are all these dudes holding and scrutinizing curved vegetables and fruits like zucchinis and cucumbers and stuff while the voice over talks about getting treatment for this condition that makes a guy's penis all ... curved. In one way, I think it's kind of clever the way they came up with a visual to illustrate those commercials. The downside is that I will never be able to look at a zucchini the same way again!

And then there are the constant ones about incontinence! I often watch TV news while I'm eating...

On edit: Spoke too soon, another one just came on - I'm watching MSNBC.
