Direct TV has lost Comedy Central / The Daily Show. Among other stations.

I don't watch the other stations, so I forget what they are. But I definitely miss Comedy Central's The Daily Show.

Direct TV is having a fight with rates that Viacom is increasing for those stations. Direct TV is fighting, too, over Viacom allowing free videos of the shows being available on the internet.

Time to try Dish for a while?

Stations's being moved or removed, sometimes the dish being moved. Rates going up. We switched to AT&T U-Verse.

Daily Show and Colbert Report are and will still be there. I imagine the contractual mess will be over within a few weeks.

Usually these disputes don't last that long.

Hulu plus is 7.99 a month. It is a good value for me as I got rid of cable and use it to get mainly The Daily Show but they have had other things worth the money. For film buffs they have over 600 films from the criterion collection.

Didn't have to sign up for anything. Regular hulu, not plus.

I haven't tried it yet because I don't feel like spending hours on the phone. I really miss Jon Stewart though.

with Comcast but we've had no threats of channel dropping in quite awhile. I don't know if they're just in the middle of a contract or what but I'll take it.
