Today theres a HS football game being played close enough that I can hear the band and occasional applause. So I guess in some ways we are getting back to normal. My state just issued a mask mandate for large outdoor gatherings. People around here seem to be pretty compliant with the rules so thats good. But it took me back a little listening to what they are playing. I couldnt really identify most of their music other than the emporors March from Star Wars. I thought back to what was played back in my day. I remember two that were common. Aquarius/let the sun shine in and my Beautiful Ballon. Guess you could guess when I was in HS. What was popular back in your HS days?

Aquarius came out a couple of years after I graduated. We basically played the typical marching band songs, Sousa marches and the like. I'm sure there were other more contemporary songs our director threw in the mix, I just can't remember them.
