If anyone doubts Betty White’s universal appeal, here is Electronic Dance Music artist and remixer Dillon Francis paying tribute to her during his show on New Year’s Eve. The crowd - almost exclusively teenagers and 20somethings - erupts in unison with cheers and they join in singing the theme song from The Golden Girls. She was LOVED by everyone. Dolly Parton may be the only person in the US who could even come close to such widespread admiration.
