Went ice fishing one year, got cold, but got no fish.

Tried my hand at cross-country skiing, got bored.
Tried regular skiing, ran into a tree.

I'm just not the type for winter sports, I get cold too easily and too quickly.

I do keep an exercise bicycle in my media room, so I can watch shows while keeping my strength up for bicycling.

And pubs? I never have liked bars.

I'm not a big fan of my participating in winter sports either. I would like to try Ice fishing, though. But that's like about $2000 in gear to start if you don't want to freeze to death.

Of course you need a dry cold snap to freeze the ice here here in Central Maine. Seems like that happens less and less frequently as the years go by....

I was plenty busy.

As a bonus, I enjoyed seeing weather complaints, bad driving, airline cancellations.

Special bonus: egg nog in super markets, turning off the furnace.

Snow melt.

Quilts.

Christmas.
