She even got that final jeopardy. Amy is amazing.

I think Ken is really a good host, too.

Too close!

And, yeah, Ken Jennings seems to have grown into the hosting role very well.

6. Oddly, I got the Final Jeopardy question! Odd, too, since I didn't know very much about the author

in question. I realized suddenly that there was a glaring hint.

We get the Jeopardy question (but not the answer) every day in the paper NYT. I think my mind had been grinding away subconsciously until the show.

8. Opinion: Amy Schneider wins $1 million on 'Jeopardy!' -- and respect for trans Americans

I have enjoyed watching Amy. She is amazing

Amy Schneider has won more than $1 million on “Jeopardy!” in an incredible 28-game victory streak. It’s yet another milestone for “Jeopardy Amy,” who is undeniably one of the best players in the show’s history and has become one of the most famous trans women in America.
.
She now holds the record for most consecutive games won by a female player (surpassing Julia Collins’s 20-game win streak in 2014) and the most money ever won by a female contestant (surpassing Larissa Kelly’s $655,930 in prize money). She currently ranks fourth overall in “Jeopardy!” history for consecutive games won and highest winnings in regular-season play.

It’s unfortunate that some people have fixated on Ms. Schneider’s appearance rather than her amazing achievements. There should not be any controversy about Ms. Schneider being called the most winning woman ever on “Jeopardy!" She identifies as a woman and has been referred to with female pronouns for her entire run on the show.....

It’s time for America to move beyond prejudices about trans people. Ms. Schneider didn’t ask to become a trans icon. She wants to be judged for her talents, just like everyone else.

9. Hubby's pal called him about Amy and started ranting about trans people being considered so trendy

now and other stupid remarks (he''s a Yale grad!). I overheard what he said and picked up the phone's extension and said "You don't know what you're talking about!. I told him I have a grandchild that is transitioning and he mocked her, too! I hung up on him. I do hope he is reconsidering his remarks and begins to see the light.

12. Trendy. What an insult to us all.

Like now trans people are fashionable and we wear them like Gucci shoes. And we’ll drop them for the next thing.

I doubt you can change him but holding firm to reality is strengthening for trans folks. And man, transitioning is hard. All support is good!

If this is such an uncomfortable mystery to him, why not have a little grace around it?

So.......... I immediately went to my DVR'd episode of Jeopardy hoping that your post was about her now being a millionaire and not her being defeated. Thank goodness it was about her being a millionaire! She's awesome!

I think Ken Jennings is doing a great job as does Mayim Bialik who will be sharing the hosting duties with him this year....
