Last week I watched The Firm (1993) and it was Included with Prime. Then I searched for other movies based on John Grisham novels and there was a rental fee of $3.99. Okay, but I just searched for The Firm and now theres a $3.99 rental fee.
So, am I being charged based on my past viewing preferences?

(3,607 posts)Make sure you are logged in with your Amazon account. When you select a movie that is on Prime, it should say "Watch with Prime"

(16,844 posts)They do it with books all the time. They'll sell the first book in a series for $2.99, then after they figure they've got you hooked, they want $9.99 for every other book. I understand that it's a business and everybody wants to make money, but sometimes the price is just too steep. It's frustrating, to say the least.

(2,815 posts)Things change with the calendar change. Some of the things on my Amazon Prime List after Jan 1st are either no longer available or there is now a charge involved. Those things might not be up to Amazon to decide. The rights to those movies might have expired.
Thats probably the case. Merci!
