Flood plains and flood data

Can anyone recommend a website that might show flood plains and flood data for properties? Thinking of moving this year but want to avoid any area that has had floods or might be subjected to floods because they are low-lying.

Thanks for any help

i found this site floodfactor.com that seems to have some data.......

that will show that info, but only if the county signed onto the federal flood program.
