Can anyone recommend a website that might show flood plains and flood data for properties? Thinking of moving this year but want to avoid any area that has had floods or might be subjected to floods because they are low-lying.

that will show that info, but only if the county signed onto the federal flood program.

Any listing will also list the flood zone.

(13,891 posts)3. FEMA Floodplain Maps. The town office or city hall should have copies but make sure
they are the most current maps. There have been a lot of changes to those maps.
