Wordle thought...

My first time playing I got a 2. I'm solidly in the 4 after playing some hundred rounds. (Link below for playing random seemingly endless rounds.)

I've been playing where I use the prior winning word as the starter word for the next round. Makes it more interesting than just using the same tried-n-true 1st guesses over and over. Although, I sometimes make an exception if there are letter repeats.

I solved it in five today — rather proud of myself.

Yesterday, I got it in two.

Wasted 30 minutes going through various iterations and finally said to myself, try it, what have you got to lose. Voila! It worked.

Have been using my Window's based laptop and there really isn't a way to copy or cut & paste.

In the upper-right of the screen on your solution, there should be two icons. One is a "settings" wheel, the other
is three blocks, a tall one in the middle. That's the one to click. An information screen will appear with a button that says "share". Click that, and the image (like the one above) is automatically copied. Then, in a DU post (or wherever), Ctrl-V will paste it.

I probably didn’t realize the same thing you didn’t realize. I got the first 2 letters quickly and ultimately finished in 4 tries, but my fourth guess was out of sheer frustration because I couldn’t find any letter combination that worked.

I now have a love/hate relationship with Wordle.

luck has nothing to do with it.
