Guy I played in a band with from 1986 to 2007, active, and jammed with until the last few years died this morning.
I heard he was sick but he & his wife kind of retreated into a shell. I dont have details but the belief is liver issues.
Iirc, he was 7 or 8 years younger than me, so late fifties.
He was a monster drummer. Best I ever played with, by a lot.

I'm so sorry. That has to be like losing a brother, after all those years together.

It's weird and sad, isn't it, to be at the age where so many friends have already passed.

Good friends and good drummers are getting hard to come by these days. Also, please forgive me for thinking this was a Spinal Tap reference. (heh, heh) Be well, ProfessorGAC.

So sorry for your loss.
