My miniature donkeys and rooster were 10x quieter than they were.
My one neighbor moved to a NYC apartment to transfer hospitals. God help their neighbors.
My high school friend and best man had one on his farm. That one never stopped barking too.

(826 posts)Was it Lucy when she got "dog germs'" from Snoopy?
I bet most of us do it, even though we love our mutts.

(17,912 posts)I love hounds. Hounds of all sizes and shapes. Watching an English Coonhound named Lucy snoozing away here. Acosta's houndie looks like a Treeing Walker. What a sweetheart!

(17,912 posts)I know that one very well. I grew up with German Shepherds and still love them too, but we adopted our first hound years ago and we've been hooked ever since. They need exercise or they tend to get weird. Lucy keeps me as fit as she is. She's a little slower now than when she was young, but can still walk, trot and run for miles.

(10,870 posts)That's the term for all those small spots on the white areas- fleabites. Been raising beagles for 40+ years, and love them to death. Never had a problem with barking, we let them stay with us and that is when they are happy & silent. Two beagles on our bed at night, and our GSD crawls underneath the bed. Yep, that's a "Three dog night".
