Not only was the Wizard of Oz a shameless grifter, he was cruel.

He sent Dorothy and her three friends to kill the wicked witch of the West. Like a mob hit. He put them all in a lot of danger being there in the castle with the witch and having to face all of her guards.

They could’ve all been killed.
