shoulder surgery went ok, not as bad as I thought... now mom's in the hospital

massive cerebral artery stroke, she's not recovering

Had to have the daughter drive to reno yesterdya to see her. we've all had our time talkung to her and hand holding. she's more lucid today, but cant speak and right body paralysis.

So yesterday we had to have a family meeting of me, sister, dad... and my daughter holding my hand. Had to explain to me muddled father that mom wasnt coming home and not getting better... he's devastated, theyve been married for 58 years...

Her prime directive was clear on no invasive procedures. so no feeding tube or iv... so we're basically in hospice at the hospital right now, and making her comfortable. They dont expect she'll last the week.

Oh momma... I just want you to go to sleep and wake up with your family. SHe's missed them all so much.. I told her they were waiting at the tabe; for her and she's late for supper...
